From December 6 to 8, 2017, the prestigious Fortune Global Forum convened in Guangzhou, the vibrant “Flower City.” As a highlight of the event, the opening gala banquet was hosted at the historic Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, where Guangdong Hongyu Lighting Engineering Construction Co., Ltd. proudly delivered a stunning lighting transformation that left guests in awe.
After more than six months of meticulous preparation, our dedicated engineering and design teams leveraged nearly 20 years of expertise to upgrade the hall’s lighting system. Approximately 600 distinguished guests—including executives from Fortune Global 500 companies, industry leaders, and global representatives—attended the banquet and enjoyed captivating performances under our brilliantly illuminated venue.
The Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall is an architectural masterpiece: its robust steel-frame and reinforced concrete structure supports a vast interior space without a single obstructing pillar. The auditorium accommodates 4,729 seats across upper and lower levels, all held by eight concealed massive columns. Natural light floods the space, complemented by ornate, colorful decorations in gold and azure tones. With 11 convenient entrances and a spacious stage, it’s ideal for grand conferences and performances.Our lighting design elevated this heritage site into a dazzling spectacle. Modern LED systems created immersive effects—evoking a starry universe in one mode and vibrant, festive colors in another, adding joy to the celebratory atmosphere.
