Guangzhou International Medical Port is located in the Economic zone of Baieitan Headquarters in Guangzhou Liwan District, covering 73 hectares with a total investment of more than 30 billion yuan. The national Chinese herbal medicine industry poverty alleviation base is located in the first phase of the project Guangzhou International Pharmaceutical Exhibition and Trade Center (Health Ark), taking the model of “government set up a platform, market orientation, enterprise operation”, based in Guangdong, facing the whole country, to help the poor areas of Guangdong province and the relevant provinces and cities in the country to establish online and offline integration of “new exhibition and trade” Chinese herbal medicine exhibition and trade museum.

Guided by the “Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area” strategy and the “Healthy China 2030” strategy, Guangzhou International Medical Port in Guangdong Province is an important starting point of Guangdong Province’s “Building a strong Province of Traditional Chinese Medicine”, a key project of Guangzhou’s “14th Five-Year Plan” and an important carrier of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Medicine and Health Comprehensive Pilot Zone, and shoulder the mission of “making people healthier and life more exciting”. With the concept of “new exhibition and trade, new medical treatment, new life, and big platform”, the project takes the big health industry as the core, forward-looking planning and layout of a comprehensive health industry platform with the integration of headquarters economy, industrial finance, research and development intelligence, health services and other formats, and strives to build a big health industry ecosystem.
