Adolf Headquarters Tower A New Landmark

Nestled in the heart of Guangzhou’s thriving Baiyun District, within the prestigious Guangzhou Design Capital, the new Adolf Headquarters Tower stands as a bold architectural statement for one of China’s leading personal care brands. Completed in 2023, this 70-meter-tall, 53,000㎡ landmark not only serves as the future global headquarters of the Adolf Group but redefines premium corporate architecture in southern China.

Designed by Sunlay Design Group, the tower draws deep inspiration from both Lingnan architectural traditions and the graceful, flowing contours of nearby Baiyun Mountain — just 2 kilometers away. The result is a building that feels organic, warm, and distinctly human in a city of glass and steel.

From the very first sketch, the design team embraced soft, rounded corners and flowing curves throughout the masterplan, creating a volume that appears gentle and approachable rather than rigid or imposing. The façade is a masterpiece of contemporary expression: expansive glass curtain walls are interwoven with vertical fins of varying density, twisting and tapering as they rise, forming the delicate, cascading silhouette of flowing hair — a poetic nod to Adolf’s heritage in hair care and its brand philosophy of “people-first care”.

The eastern façade, facing the main arterial traffic, commands immediate attention. Here, an iconic undulating canopy sweeps outward like the hem of a goddess’s dress, paired with rhythmic vertical lines that together create one of Guangzhou’s most memorable urban impressions — often affectionately referred to as “The Goddess’s Skirt”.

Connecting the two elegant towers is a graceful skybridge suspended by slender catenary cables, forming a perfect inverted curve that floats effortlessly between the structures. This delicate suspension system not only enhances structural elegance but adds a sense of movement and lightness to the entire composition.

Inside, the headquarters offers state-of-the-art office environments, collaborative workspaces, brand experience zones, and wellness-focused amenities — all designed to reflect Adolf’s commitment to caring for both its people and its customers.

More than just a corporate address, the Adolf Headquarters Tower is a celebration of beauty, nature, and human-centered design. It stands as a proud new icon in Guangzhou’s skyline — where Lingnan tradition meets contemporary elegance, and where every curve tells a story of care.

Welcome to the future home of Adolf — where architecture itself feels like an act of care.
