Guangzhou Jianhua Plaza Lighting Project
Located in the heart of Baiyun District, Guangzhou Jianhua Plaza is a 130-meter-tall Grade A office landmark with a total construction area of over 107,000 square meters. The project is just a 10-minute walk from the subway station, serving as the first major landmark in Baiyun New City’s headquarters economic cluster — symbolizing the “Window of Baiyun”.
Design Concept: Window of Baiyun
The architectural and lighting design of Guangzhou Jianhua Plaza aims to blend modern Western architectural style with Lingnan garden aesthetics, creating harmony between the building and Baiyun Mountain’s natural landscape.
The design team — led by Aedas for architecture and SWA for landscape — interpreted the “Window” theme through the façade, form, and lighting rhythm.
This approach allows the building to function as an integrated space for work, recreation, passage, and visual enjoyment.
Lighting Highlights
The lighting design enhances the tower’s vertical rhythm while emphasizing transparency and reflection. Through energy-efficient LED fixtures and intelligent control systems, the façade lighting expresses both simplicity and elegance.
Dynamic color temperature adjustments and precise brightness control highlight the building’s form at night, symbolizing innovation and vitality within Guangzhou’s skyline.
