The Jinlu Group Headquarters Tower stands as one of the landmark buildings in Quanzhou’s Donghai Central Business District (CBD). Its design perfectly blends modernity, innovation, and local Minnan cultural elements. The architecture successfully marries form and function, imagery and technology. Through a contemporary interpretation of the “sail” motif, clean and powerful massing, a high-quality curtain-wall system, and exquisite craftsmanship, the tower has become a masterpiece that showcases both corporate strength and regional identity while making a significant contribution to Quanzhou’s skyline. It serves not only as the global headquarters of Jinlu Group but also as an important visual symbol of Quanzhou’s modernization.Architectural Highlights

Blog Post – “Sailing into the Night: Jinlu Group Headquarters Tower Illumination”Published: November 2025
Quanzhou, FujianWhen the sun sets over the Taiwan Strait, a new icon rises on Quanzhou’s skyline: the Jinlu Group Headquarters Tower. Inspired by the image of a proud sail catching the wind, this 150-meter headquarters fuses maritime heritage with cutting-edge corporate identity. At Guangdong Hongyu Lighting Engineering Construction Co., Ltd., we were entrusted with bringing this “sail” to life after dark through a meticulously crafted architectural lighting masterpiece.Design Concept: The Golden Sail at Night
Our lighting narrative revolves around three key ideas:
- Vertical Rhythm & Sail Motion – Warm-white (3000K) linear grazing light climbs the full height of the vertical ribs, accentuating the tower’s flowing curves and creating a subtle upward “wind-filled” movement.
- Crown of Glory – The sculptural crown is crowned with precisely controlled golden-white accent lighting that shifts gradually from 2700K at the edges to 4000K at the peak, forming a radiant beacon visible across the city and from approaching ships.
- Reflections on Water – The tower sits beside a serene water feature; we calibrated every fixture angle to maximize mirror-like reflections, doubling the visual impact and turning the entire site into a floating lantern on the water.
Technical Excellence
- Over 2,600 sets of high-CRI, narrow-beam LED linear washers and spotlights
- Full DMX512 intelligent control with 12 preset scenes (daily, corporate events, maritime festivals, energy-saving mode)
- Anti-glare optics and spill-light shields ensure compliance with the strictest dark-sky requirements while maintaining dramatic effect
- Integrated wind and lux sensors automatically adjust brightness during Quanzhou’s frequent coastal breezes and changing weather
From 18:30 until midnight, the Jinlu Tower transforms from a sleek corporate headquarters into a glowing golden sail that pays homage to Quanzhou’s thousand-year maritime legacy while confidently declaring the city’s future. This is more than illumination; it is a love letter in light to Quanzhou’s past, present, and future.Project: Jinlu Group Headquarters Tower Architectural Lighting
