Zhaoxing Liping Dong Village Lighting Project
Located in Liping County, Guizhou Province, Zhaoxing Dong Village is one of China’s most famous ethnic Dong cultural heritage sites.
Hongyu Lighting was responsible for the comprehensive lighting design and implementation of the village’s nightscape improvement project, integrating traditional culture with modern lighting technology.
Design Concept
The design concept focuses on “Harmony between Light and Culture.”
By using warm-tone lighting and low-level illumination, the lighting highlights the architectural features of Dong drum towers, wind-and-rain bridges, and stilted houses, while preserving the tranquil charm of the village at night.
Carefully designed lighting not only brings out the village’s historical atmosphere but also enhances its night-time tourism appeal, creating a poetic balance between authenticity and experience.
